Lady Gaga has mysteriously changed her Twitter profile.
The pop star replaced her regular picture with the infamous generic “egg” that new users on the platform get as a default graphic.
Meanwhile, Gaga’s Twitter bio now reads: “This interface has been shutdown temporarily. Please check back for updates.”

The account has not technically been shut down — Gaga’s roughly 2,600 tweets and nearly 39 million followers remain.
While it’s not clear why the changes were made, it’s being speculated that the move is connected to Gaga’s highly anticipated ARTPOP project.
Of course, Gaga has had other egg-centric moments in the past.
